Fraser Island Houses

“Fraser Island Houses” offers the choice of 14 properties located in Happy Valley on the World Heritage “Fraser Island”. Each property is individually owned and unique offering a range of accommodation opportunities to suit the needs for your holiday.

You can scroll through the following pages and select the property which best suits your Island holiday. A calendar for each property shows availability and an estimated cost per week maybe shown (but you need to check with the property owner).

This website is an initiative of Happy Valley Property Management Pty Ltd (HVPM).  HVPM is a consortium of individuals and families who own houses and offer holiday home accommodation at Happy Valley on Fraser Island. All properties are privately owned, but individuals work together to ensure convenient marketing and management arrangements. Local Managers are employed to supervise the properties.

  • Happy Valley consists of two adjoining valleys (‘First Valley’ and ‘Second Valley’) with all residences within metres and a few minutes of the open surf beach.
  • Much of Happy Valley is protected by coastal dunes from on shore winds.
  • There is a gently graded pedestrian boardwalk providing easy ‘vehicle free’ access to the beach.
  • Happy Valley is midway on the Eastern Beach and its central location makes it an ideal base from which to explore the Island. From here you can plan your trips to the  famous natural attractions of this spectacular World Heritage listed and internationally acclaimed great sand island. The freshwater lakes,  rain forests, Eli Creek, the coloured sands at the Cathedrals, the Maheno Ship Wreck, Rainbow Gorge, Indian Head, Champagne Pools, Waddy Point, Lake Wabby, Lake McKenzie, Central Station. These and other attractions are within reach by four wheel drive vehicle.
  • If your passion is fishing you may find a gutter on Happy Valley’s doorstep or try your luck fishing the many kilometres of beach to the north and south.
  • Fraser Island is a remote location. All properties are represented by the HVPM local Managers who live in Happy Valley and are trained to assist you and attended to any issues so you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
  • Properties are all maintain to a high standard.
  • There is an Ambulance/First Aid Centre at Happy Valley.
